Footium Season 19 Introduces Stadium Customisation, Daily FC Claiming, and Tiered Player Auctions

Footium has outlined its plans for Season 19, introducing several new features to its onchain football management game. According to recent announcements, the pre-season will open on May 13, with official matches and training commencing on May 19.

Season 19 will see the implementation of a full Stadium Customisation system. Traditionally, stadiums in Footium provided structural advantages, such as affecting club identity and offering morale boosts for home matches. The new update reportedly allows club owners greater flexibility in designing and customising stadium features—including elements like car parks, kiosks, statues of club legends, and ticket offices—enabling a broader expression of club identity and gameplay impact. These enhancements are designed to influence player morale and match outcomes in line with similar advantages in real-world football.

Another key addition is the Daily FC Claiming system. This aims to streamline the process of accumulating the in-game FC currency by offering a daily engagement mechanic. Previously, players needed to participate in matches or training sessions for incremental currency gains. The new system allows managers to claim FC on a daily basis, reducing friction and providing a consistent method for currency accrual. This is intended to encourage ongoing daily activity and support economic growth within the game.

Footium is also launching expanded player auctions that now cover three reward tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. These auctions will provide club owners additional opportunities to compete for higher-tier players and diversify their squad investments.
