CME Adds Bitcoin Cash and Uniswap Futures to Crypto Offerings

CME Group has announced plans to introduce both standard and micro futures contracts for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI). This decision extends the exchange operator's ongoing initiative to diversify its crypto derivatives portfolio. Prior to this expansion, CME already offered futures for several prominent altcoins, including Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche, and Sui.

By broadening its lineup, CME is responding to evolving market interest in a variety of digital currencies beyond the most established assets. The addition of BCH and UNI is in line with its pattern of gradually including more assets as they gain traction within the crypto space.

While these new contracts create additional tools for traders seeking exposure to alternative cryptocurrencies, the performance, adoption, and market impact of these products remain to be seen.
